Little by little Marble will lose its initial shine. Scratches and etch marks pile-up and damage the original finish. Ultimately, your Marble floor will need to be re-polished.
We use industrial diamonds to eliminate the scratches and damage and bring back the initial surface.
If your floor has been laid leaving jagged tiles, this is certainly described as “lippage”. We can grind away the irregular tile edges, making the tile surface flat. Grinding Marble really should be completed by specialists.
Following grinding, the grout sits will sit at the same level as the Marble tiles. The Marble will have the look of appearing as a single piece of Marble.
Mopping a ground, honed and polished Marble floor is a lot like cleaning a single slab of glass. There are no grout channels to hold dirt. Marble restoration typically involves some crack and chip repairs, using resin fillers. We will recommend the correct Marble restoration service.

Victorian Clay Tiles are installed in lots of Victorian and Edwardian hallways.
The tiles are unglazed resulting from the natural colours of the clay used in their manufacture.
With the changes in interior decoration, these floors get carpet underlay, lino, bitumen and different adhesive residues.
The main challenges with victorian floor tiles is removing years of polished, oils, waxes, dirt and grime without doing damage to the tiles.
A colour intensifying sealer is used following cleaning, to displace the first colours in the tiles. If you prefer a sheen or gloss finish a surface sealer or wax can be applied.

Porcelain is categorised as a ceramic, but manufactured with alternative materials to conventional ceramic tiles.
Premium Porcelain has really low porosity, which means less stains, less water damage and mold, and less need to be sealed.
There are inferior porcelains that may absorb surface soil and spills similar to natural stone floors. The tiny surface pits make it tough to remove this soil.
You need specialist machines and cleaning solutions to get rid of this soil.
After cleaning, we use specialist Porcelain sealers to prevent this problem.
In the event that porcelain is a through-colour, we could resurface the porcelain, exactly like granite or Stone restoration.

Natural stone cleaning very often includes further restoration services. Natural stone floor restoration may take many forms. All stone and tile floors have problems with wear and surface damage. In many cases, soil, spills and traffic scratches affect floor's finish, hence the need for stone restoration. Highly polished Stone and granite floors show deterioration rapidly, as little foot traffic scratches in the stone finish dull the gloss and trap dirt. A surface sealer will not stop permeable stone and tiles like Limestone, Sandstone & Terracotta eventually struggling with wear and spill problems.
Most stone and tile floors have cement grout. As it is slightly recessed, so the grout captures more grime compared to the tile itself. Cracks, chips and hole repairs are commonly part of the restoration work.
We get rid of acid etch marks and scratches by resurfacing. The beauty of natural stone is that it may be resurfaced, to show a new finish.
Over time a natural stone floor will loose the original shine. This loss of gloss is brought on by small scratches on the stone where it's been walked on. Ultimately, the stone tiles will have to be re-polished.
We use the highest standard diamond polishing machines to restore the shine on Granite, Terrazzo, Polished Limestone and Polished Travertine natural stone floors. Gloss sealers create the shine on Sandstone, Slate, Honed Travertine, Clay & Honed Limestone tiles. Sealer removing substances are used to clear away all remnants of the existing sealer, after which a new gloss-finish sealer is applied.

Choose a product designed to clean stone with balanced pH. Do not clean natural stone with acidic or abrasive products. Make a baking soda paste using water, spread it on the stain, cover it, and let it sit for 24-48 hours before cleaning.
Mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, make a paste, apply to grout, scrub gently, and rinse clean. After drying completely, add a protective layer of sealer to the grout.
Never use vinegar on travertine or Stone; stick to ceramic or porcelain tiles.
Allow fresh air, squeegee water off, and clean regularly with a neutral cleaner. Seal grout to protect against water exposure.
Yes, sealing helps block moisture in grout and stone surfaces. Seal porous materials regularly, every 1-2 years or as needed. Reapply sealant every 6 months for well-used zones.
